In this week's episode, professor Michael Drane meets with Geoffrey Wallis, author of 'A Voice From the Inside: Notes on Religious Trauma in a Captive Organization.'

Geoffrey, who uses a pseudonym to protect his identity, shares his experience of leaving the Jehovah's Witness church, which he identifies as a captive organization, and the psychological and emotional trauma that ensued once he began to seriously question his beliefs.

Listen in as they explore religious trauma, social isolation, cult criteria, and the spectrum of conformity and control present in most, if not all, modern religions, and how the church's policies lead to the phenomenon of Physically-In-Mentally-Out (PIMO).

If you are interested in reading Jeff's book (which I highly recommend) you can purchase it in paperback or audio through Amazon.com

Stay safe out there friends, and we hope you enjoy the show.
