In this week’s episode, Professor Michael Drane explores the Psychology of Confirmation Bias through the lens of Paranormal Activity. He has with him Jeremy Enfinger, Paranormal Investigator and host of the ‘Deviatus’ and ‘‘Wine & Wierdos’ Podcasts, as well as Ryan Lee, Cybersecurity Engineer. Jeremy, having spent several years investigating paranormal activity, is acting as the believer. Ryan, on the other hand, has never encountered any sort of paranormal activity, and has never seen or felt a ghost, so he is acting as the skeptic. Professor Drane explores their positions on paranormal activity, their confidence in its existence, as well as their own paranormal experiences and how it may relate to confirmation bias.
